Pork Burgers with Gochujang Aioli

    Wash and dry produce. In a small bowl , whisk together mayonnaise , gochujang sauce , half the garlic powder , water , salt , and black pepper . Set aside.

    In a medium bowl , gently combine ground pork , remaining garlic powder, sugar , salt, and pepper. Form the pork mixture into two 1/2-inch-thick patties (four patties for four servings), each slightly wider than a burger bun. Heat cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Meanwhile, halve and toast brioche buns in the large pan. In a large bowl , toss mixed greens with as much sesame dressing as you like. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

    Spread cut sides of the toasted buns with the gochujang aioli. Fill with patties and crispy fried onions . Divide burgers and salad between plates. Serve.
