2In a small bowl , combine the remaining 2 tbsp of butter and the remaining garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Microwave until the butter softens ⏱️ 10 seconds . Slice demi-baguette lengthwise, stopping just before cutting all the way through. Spread the cut sides with the garlic butter and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet .
