Broiled Burrata & Shrimp Pesto Cavatappi

  • burrata
    1 unit
  • cavatappi pasta
    8 oz
  • crème fraîche
    2 tbsp
  • olive oil
    1 tbsp
  • panko breadcrumbs
    ½ cup
  • pesto
    4 tbsp
  • roma tomatoes
    2 unit
  • salt
    1 tsp
  • shrimp
    8 oz

🍳 Cookware

  • large pot
  • large ovenproof pan

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry all produce.

    Once water is boiling, add cavatappi pasta to pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente ⏱️ 10 minutes . Reserve ½ cup pasta cooking water, then drain.

    Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large ovenproof pan over medium-high heat. Add roma tomatoes and a pinch of salt . Cook, stirring occasionally, until starting to soften ⏱️ 3 minutes .

    Evenly top pasta with panko breadcrumbs mixture. Tear burrata into bite-size pieces and arrange on top of pasta. Toss with pesto and crème fraîche . Top with cooked shrimp and broil until golden and melty ⏱️ 2 minutes .
