    sweet potatoes: 2 unit, pork chops: 2 unit, garlic: 2 cloves, green beans: 5 oz, cinnamon: 1 tsp, maple syrup: 1½ tbsp, balsamic vinegar: 1½ tbsp, pecans: 1 tbsp, vegetable oil: 2 tbsp, butter: 1½ tbsp

    Wash and dry all produce. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into ½-inch cubes. Place in a medium pot with enough water to cover by 1 inch. Bring to a boil and cook ⏱️ 12 minutes until easily pierced by a knife. Remove with a slotted spoon and place in a medium bowl , keeping the pot of water boiling on the stove.

    While sweet potatoes cook, heat a drizzle of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Season pork chops all over with salt and pepper. Add to pan and cook ⏱️ 4 minutes to ⏱️ 6 minutes per side until done. Remove from pan and set aside. Meanwhile, mince 1 clove garlic.

    Add green beans to the pot with boiling water and cook ⏱️ 3 minutes to ⏱️ 4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and return to pot with ½ tbsp butter and a pinch of garlic. Toss until butter melts and coats beans. Season with salt, pepper, and remaining minced garlic.

    Add 1 tbsp butter, ½ tsp cinnamon, and 1½ tsp maple syrup to the bowl with sweet potatoes. Mash until mostly smooth. Season with salt and pepper, then cover with foil to keep warm.

    Heat a drizzle of vegetable oil in the large pan over medium heat. Add remaining garlic and cook ⏱️ 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in 1½ tbsp balsamic vinegar and remove pan from heat. Let reduce until slightly syrupy ⏱️ 1 minute . Return to medium heat and add remaining maple syrup. Simmer ⏱️ 2 minutes until thick and glaze-like.

    Add pork chops to pan and turn to coat in glaze. Remove pan from heat. Divide sweet potatoes, green beans, and pork chops between plates. Sprinkle potatoes with pecans. Drizzle any remaining glaze over pork and serve.
