    Wash and dry all produce. large pan

    Remove Italian sausage from casing if necessary; discard casing.

    Heat olive oil in the pan over medium-high. Brown sausage, breaking into pieces, until cooked through ⏱️ 5 minutes . Remove to a bowl. Add shrimp and minced garlic , cooking until shrimp turn pink ⏱️ 2 minutes . Remove to bowl.

    Add chopped kale and a splash of water to the pan. Cover and cook until wilted ⏱️ 3 minutes . Stir in chicken stock concentrate , drained cannellini beans , and season with salt and black pepper . Simmer until heated through ⏱️ 5 minutes .

    Meanwhile, cook pearl couscous in a small pot of boiling salted water until tender ⏱️ 8 minutes . Drain well.

    Reduce heat under pan with sausage-kale mixture to low. Return sausage and shrimp to the pan. Add cooked couscous, butter , and a squeeze of lemon juice. Cook, stirring, until butter has melted ⏱️ 1 minute .

    Divide sausage and white beans mixture between plates. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and as many chili flakes as you like. Serve with remaining lemon wedges on the side.
