    Wash and dry all produce. Cut broccoli into bite-size pieces if necessary. In a small bowl , whisk together soy sauce , hoisin sauce , ponzu sauce , half the garlic powder , and sugar until well combined; set aside.

    In a small pot , combine white rice , water , and a pinch of salt . Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook until tender ⏱️ 15 minutes . Keep covered off heat until ready to serve. If using microwavable rice instead, prepare according to package directions.

    While rice cooks, pat pork chops dry with paper towels and thinly slice crosswise. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and cook, stirring often, until browned and tender ⏱️ 5 minutes . Lower heat to medium if broccoli begins to brown too quickly. Stir in pork slices and a pinch of black pepper . Cook, stirring often, until cooked through ⏱️ 4 minutes . Add the sauce mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened ⏱️ 2 minutes . Remove from heat.
