Bring a #large pot{} of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry produce. Trim and thinly slice @button mushrooms{4%oz}. Core and thinly slice @long green pepper{1%unit} into strips. Peel and mince @garlic{2%cloves}. Trim and thinly slice @scallions{2%unit}, separating whites from greens.

Once water is boiling, add @cavatappi pasta{8%oz} to pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente ~{10%minutes}. Reserve ¾ cup pasta cooking water, then drain.

Heat a drizzle of @cooking oil{1%tbsp} in a #large pan{} over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and green pepper; cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and tender ~{5%minutes}. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in garlic, scallion whites, @flour{2%tbsp}, @blackening spice{2%tbsp}, and another drizzle of cooking oil; cook, stirring, until fragrant ~{2%minutes}.

Add @crushed tomatoes{14%oz} to pan and cook, stirring, until jammy ~{3%minutes}. Stir in @coconut milk{13%oz} (shaken first), @veggie stock concentrate{1%unit}, @mushroom stock concentrate{1%unit}, @sugar{½%tsp}, and ¼ cup reserved pasta water. Bring to a simmer; cook, stirring, until thickened ~{3%minutes}. Season with salt and pepper.

Stir in @shrimp{8%oz}, drained cavatappi pasta, and a drizzle of @olive oil{1%tbsp} into pan with sauce; toss to coat.

Divide pasta between bowls. Garnish with scallion greens and drizzle with @hot sauce{1%unit} as desired. Serve.
