Preheat the #oven{} to 425 F. Soak the @wooden skewers{8%pieces} in water. Thinly slice the @scallions{2%pieces}, keeping the white and green parts separate. Trim and halve the @green beans{8%oz}. Halve, peel, and thinly slice the @red onion{1%piece}. Mince the @garlic{3%clove}. Cut the @chicken breasts{12%oz} into bite-sized pieces and set aside in a #medium bowl{}.

In a #medium bowl{}, toss chicken with garlic, @hoisin sauce{2%tbsp}, and half the @soy sauce{3%tbsp}. Set aside to marinate.

Heat a drizzle of @olive oil{2%tbsp} in a #large pan{} over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook, tossing occasionally, for ~{7%minutes}, until golden brown. Remove from pan.

Meanwhile, remove chicken from marinade and thread onto skewers. Place onto a lightly oiled #baking sheet{} and bake in the oven for ~{10%minutes}, until slightly caramelized and cooked through.

While the chicken bakes, add a large drizzle of olive oil to the pan. Add @chuka soba noodles{2%packs}, green beans, scallion whites, and ~{¼%cup} water to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until the water evaporates and the green beans become crisp-tender. Cook for another ~{4%minutes}, without stirring, until the noodles begin to crisp on the bottom of the pan.

Toss the noodles with the remaining soy sauce and as much @sriracha{1%tsp} as you dare.

Serve the chicken yakitori over the noodles, sprinkled with the scallion greens.
