4In a small bowl , combine cornstarch , garlic powder , and black pepper . Pat grass-fed rib-eye steak dry with a paper towel and season with the cornstarch mixture. Heat 1 tbsp cooking oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook, stirring occasionally, until a crust forms ⏱️ 5 minutes .
