#medium pot{} Bring @water{4%cups} to a boil with a pinch of @salt{1%tsp}. Wash and dry all produce.

#large pan{} Heat @olive oil{1%tbsp} over medium-high heat. Add @button mushrooms{8%oz}(sliced); season with salt and @black pepper{1%tsp}. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and slightly crispy ~{6%minutes}.

Add @cavatappi pasta{4%oz} to the boiling pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente ~{10%minutes}. Drain pasta and set aside.

In the same pan, melt @garlic herb butter{2%tbsp} over medium-high heat. Add @scallions{2%stalks} whites and cook until just softened ~{1%minute}.

Stir in @cream cheese{2%oz} and @milk{½%cup}. Whisk until melted and combined. Stir in @flour{1%tbsp} to thicken slightly, cooking ~{1%minute}.

Divide pasta between #bowls{}. Sprinkle with @parmesan cheese{½%cup} and reserved scallions greens. Serve immediately.
