In a #small pot{}, combine @jasmine rice{½%cup}, ¾%cup water, and a pinch of @salt{}. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until rice is tender, ~{15%minutes} to ~{18%minutes}.

While rice cooks, wash and dry all produce. Place @honey{2%tbsp} in a small bowl with enough hot water to cover to warm it. Halve @mandarin orange{1%unit}; squeeze juice from both halves into a separate small bowl. Trim and thinly slice @scallions{2%unit}, separating whites from greens. Halve, core, and thinly slice @long green pepper{1%unit} into strips. Trim tough ends from @asparagus{6%spears} and cut into 1-inch pieces.

Open package of @diced skinless dark meat chicken{10%oz} and drain off excess liquid. In a #medium bowl{}, combine chicken, @cornstarch{1%tbsp}, @garlic powder{1%tsp}, a pinch of salt, and @black pepper{½%tsp}. Toss until evenly coated.

Once rice is done, stir in @butter{½%tbsp}; fluff with a fork. Keep warm.

In a #large pan{}, heat @cooking oil{1%tbsp} over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned ~{6%minutes}. Stir in green pepper and asparagus; cook until tender-crisp ~{3%minutes}.

Meanwhile, whisk together mandarin orange juice, @soy sauce{2%tbsp}, @ketchup{2%tbsp}, warmed honey, @sriracha{1%tsp}, and 2%tbsp water until smooth. Pour sauce into the pan with chicken and vegetables. Simmer until thickened and glossy ~{2%minutes}.

Divide rice between bowls. Top with the stir-fry, @sliced almonds{1%tbsp}, and scallion greens. Serve immediately.
