Bring a #medium pot{} of water with a large pinch of @salt{1%tsp} to a boil. Mince @garlic{3%cloves}. Peel and mince @ginger{1%tbsp}. Thinly slice @scallions{2%unit}, keeping the whites and greens separate. Trim and discard the bottom inch of @baby broccolini{8%oz}. Halve the broccolini lengthwise through the stems, then cut into 2-inch pieces.

Cook the @brown rice{1%cup}: Add rice to boiling water and cook ~{30%minutes}, until tender. Drain using a #strainer{} and set aside.

In a #large bowl{}, combine @soy sauce{2%tbsp}, @hoisin sauce{2%tbsp}, scallion whites, half the garlic, and half the ginger. Add @ground beef{12%oz} and thoroughly mix with hands.

With ~{15%minutes} left on the rice, heat a drizzle of @olive oil{1%tbsp} in a #large pan{} over medium heat. Add broccolini and cook, tossing, ~{6%minutes}, until crisp-tender. Season with @pepper{1%tsp}. Add remaining garlic and ginger and cook, tossing ~{30%seconds}, until fragrant. Remove from pan and set aside. Cover to keep warm.

Heat the same pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add beef and cook, breaking up meat into pieces, until browned and no longer pink ~{5%minutes}.

Finish and plate: Fluff rice with a #fork{}. Serve broccolini and beef on a bed of rice, sprinkled with scallion greens and @sesame seeds{1%tbsp}. Enjoy!
