Wash and dry all produce. Bring @water{2%cup} to a boil in a #medium pot{}. Season with @salt{1%tsp}. Mince @garlic{3%cloves}. Peel and mince @ginger{2%tbsp}. Thinly slice @scallions{2%unit}, keeping greens and whites separate.

Add @jasmine rice{1%cup} to boiling water. Cover and reduce to a low simmer until tender ~{15%minutes} to ~{20%minutes}. Remove from heat and cover until meal is ready.

In a #large bowl{}, combine @soy sauce{2%tbsp}, @sesame oil{1%tbsp}, @hoisin sauce{2%tbsp}, scallion whites, half the garlic, and half the ginger. Add @ground beef{12%oz} and thoroughly combine with your hands.

Heat a large drizzle of @olive oil{1%tbsp} in a #large skillet{} over medium heat. Add @broccoli florets{10%oz} and toss until crisp-tender ~{6%minutes} to ~{8%minutes}. Season with salt and @black pepper{1%tsp}. Add remaining garlic and ginger, and toss until fragrant, about ~{30%seconds}. Remove from pan and cover to keep warm.

Heat remaining olive oil in same pan over medium-high heat. Add beef mixture and break up into pieces until browned ~{4%minutes} to ~{5%minutes}.

Fluff rice with a fork. Serve beef and broccoli on a bed of rice, and sprinkle with scallion greens and @sesame seeds{1%tbsp}. Enjoy!
