2Wash and dry all produce. Finely chop bacon, slice carrots, and cut broccoli into bite-size florets. -
3large pot . Heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chopped bacon and garlic powder. Cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant ⏱️ 30 seconds . Add carrots and cook until slightly softened ⏱️ 3 minutes . -
4Add pearl couscous, chicken stock concentrate, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to maintain a gentle simmer. Cover and cook ⏱️ 4 minutes . -
5Add broccoli florets. Stir occasionally and cook until tender ⏱️ 3 minutes . Remove from heat. -
6Ladle soup evenly into bowls. Stir creme fraiche into each bowl, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and garnish with sliced scallions. Serve immediately.
