review_highlights:
  - theme: Flavor
text: The balsamic ketchup glaze was a hit, though some preferred a milder balsamic taste.
  - theme: Ease of prep
text: Shaping the mixture into smaller patties instead of one large loaf cooks more easily and creates more crispy edges.

Wash and dry all produce. Preheat oven to 450°F. Mince or grate @garlic{1%clove}. Chop @parsley{1%bunch}. Trim @green beans{8%oz}. Halve and peel @yellow onion{1%unit}. Using a box grater, grate one half into a #large bowl{}.

Add garlic, parsley, @panko breadcrumbs{½%cup}, @ground beef{16%oz}, and @salt{½%tsp} to the bowl. Season with @pepper{¼%tsp}, then mix with hands to combine. Form into two 1-inch-tall loaves and place on a lightly oiled #baking sheet{}. In a #small bowl{}, mix @balsamic vinegar{1%tbsp} and @ketchup{2%tbsp}, then brush evenly onto the meatloaves. Bake until no longer pink in the center, ~{25%minutes}.

Peel and chop @sweet potatoes{2%unit} into ½-inch cubes. Place in a #large pot{} with a pinch of salt and enough water to cover by 2 inches. Bring to a boil and cook until easily pierced with a fork, ~{10%minutes}. Drain and return to pot.

After meatloaves have baked ~{10%minutes}, remove from oven. Toss green beans on the same baking sheet with a drizzle of @olive oil{1%tbsp} and a pinch of salt and pepper. Return to oven and bake until meatloaves are cooked through and green beans are slightly browned, ~{15%minutes} more.

Mash sweet potato in the pot with a fork or potato masher until smooth. If potatoes have cooled, quickly reheat over medium-low heat. Add @butter{1%tbsp} and @honey{1%tbsp}. Continue mashing to combine. Season generously with salt and pepper.

When meatloaves and green beans are done, sprinkle @almonds{¼%cup} over green beans and toss to combine. Divide meatloaves between plates and serve with sweet potato mash and green beans on the side.
