    Wash and dry produce. Halve demi-baguette lengthwise and toast until lightly crisp.

    Heat olive oil in a medium pan over medium-high heat. Add fully cooked beef meatballs and cook, stirring occasionally, until warmed through and browned all over ⏱️ 4 minutes . Season with italian seasoning , salt , and black pepper . Stir in marinara sauce and water . Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce is warmed through ⏱️ 60 seconds .

    While meatballs cook, in a large bowl , toss together mixed greens , italian dressing , and half the shredded carrots . Taste and season with salt and pepper if desired.

    Top bottom baguette halves with meatball mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and close subs. Divide subs and salad between plates. Top salad with croutons and serve.
