Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place @butter{2%tbsp} in a #small bowl{} and microwave until melted ~{30%seconds}.

Pour @marinara sauce{15%oz} into a #large bowl{}. Stir in @gnocchi{12%oz}, half the melted butter, @water{½%cup}, a pinch of @salt{1%pinch}, and a pinch of @chili flakes{1%tsp} until thoroughly combined. Divide mixture evenly between @oven-ready tray{2%units}.

In the small bowl with remaining melted butter, stir @panko breadcrumbs{¼%cup}, @mozzarella cheese{½%cup}, a large drizzle of @olive oil{1%tbsp}, @salt{1%pinch}, and @black pepper{1%pinch}. Pat @chicken cutlets{4%pieces} dry, drizzle with olive oil, and season all over with @italian seasoning{1%tsp}, salt, and pepper. Place one cutlet in each tray on top of gnocchi mixture.

Sprinkle panko mixture evenly over each cutlet. Bake until chicken is cooked through and topping is golden brown ~{25%minutes}. Let cool ~{5%minutes}. Divide between plates, top with more chili flakes if desired, and serve. -- For a deeper crust, broil ~{2%minutes} while watching carefully to avoid burning.
