Bring a #large pot{} of @water{for boiling%unit} with a large pinch of @salt{to taste%unit} to a boil. Meanwhile, prepare @yellow onion{1%unit}(diced), @red bell pepper{1%unit}(thinly sliced), @garlic{2%cloves}(minced), and @parsley{1%unit}(finely chopped).

Heat a drizzle of @olive oil{2%tbsp} in a #large pan{} over medium-high heat. Season @chicken breasts{2%pieces} on both sides with salt and @black pepper{to taste%unit}. Add chicken to pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side ~{4%minutes}, until cooked through. Set aside.

Add @orecchiette pasta{8%oz} to boiling water and cook for 9 to 10 minutes ~{9%minutes}, until al dente. Drain using a #strainer{}, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

Meanwhile, heat another drizzle of olive oil in the same pan over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper and cook for 6 to 8 minutes ~{6%minutes}, tossing, until soft. Add garlic and @chili flakes{1%tsp} and cook for 30 seconds ~{30%seconds}, until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.

Thinly slice chicken, then add to pan along with pasta, @sour cream{¼%cup}, @parmesan cheese{1%cup}, @peas{1%cup}, half the parsley, a drizzle of olive oil, and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss to combine, then season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve sprinkled with remaining parsley and enjoy!
