Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 450°F. Bring a #large pot{} of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry all produce. Halve, peel, and finely dice @onion{1%medium}. Peel and mince @garlic{3%cloves}. Roughly chop @parsley{⅓%cup}. Cook @italian chicken sausage{2%links} in a #large pan{} over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through ~{8%minutes}. Break into bite-sized pieces.

Toss @grape tomatoes{1%cup}, diced onion, minced garlic, and @panko breadcrumbs{2%tbsp} on a #baking sheet{} with a large drizzle of @cooking oil{1%tbsp}, @dried oregano{½%tsp}, @salt{1%tsp}, and @black pepper{1%tsp}. Roast on top rack until tomatoes burst ~{15%minutes}.

Once water is boiling, add @orecchiette pasta{8%oz} to pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente ~{10%minutes}. Drain and return to pot. Drizzle with @olive oil{3%tbsp}. Add roasted tomato mixture and cooked sausage to pot with pasta. Stir to combine, adding more olive oil a drizzle at a time if needed, until everything is coated in a glossy sauce. Stir pasta vigorously to prevent sticking. Taste and season with additional salt and pepper.

Divide pasta between shallow bowls. Garnish with @parmesan cheese{½%cup} and chopped parsley. Serve.
