    Bring a large pot of water with a large pinch of salt to a boil. Meanwhile, prepare yellow onion , red bell pepper , garlic , and parsley .
    water: for boiling unit, salt: to taste unit, yellow onion: 1 unit (diced), red bell pepper: 1 unit (thinly sliced), garlic: 2 cloves (minced), parsley: 1 unit (finely chopped)

    Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper . Add chicken to pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side ⏱️ 4 minutes , until cooked through. Set aside.

    Add orecchiette pasta to boiling water and cook for 9 to 10 minutes ⏱️ 9 minutes , until al dente. Drain using a strainer , reserving ½ cup pasta water.

    Meanwhile, heat another drizzle of olive oil in the same pan over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper and cook for 6 to 8 minutes ⏱️ 6 minutes , tossing, until soft. Add garlic and chili flakes and cook for 30 seconds ⏱️ 30 seconds , until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.

    Thinly slice chicken, then add to pan along with pasta, sour cream , parmesan cheese , peas , half the parsley, a drizzle of olive oil, and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss to combine, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
